Halle Berry & Olivier Martinez Bring Their Lurve Home To SoCal
This past Thursday Bravo aired the first season finale of The Real Housewives of DC which focused pretty exclusively on the White House Party Crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi. That ep alone contained all of the real drama that was pretty much missing from the entire season. Next Thursday, Bravo will air part 1 of 2-part reunion special that will pit the ladies (and gentlemen) of The Real Housewives of DC against one another to rehash all of the grievances that came out this season:
Today we get to check out a few sneak peeks of the 2-part reunion special which will give us a taste of what to expect. In all honesty, the DC Housewives are the boringest of the bunch … nothing at all really happened and even when it came time to showcase the White House party crashing, everything we saw was after the fact. The juiciest stuff we saw was rebroadcast footage from C-SPAN of the Salahi‘s appearance before a Congressional committee investigating their party crashing. Still, I watched the entire season and there ain’t no way I’m missing the reunion special. After the jump, check out 3 clips from the special in preparation of the coming reunion special …
I’m so grossed out by the Salahis who, to me, seem like a grown-up and just as sad incarnation of Speidi. While their annoying behavior was minorly entertaining for a minute, I’m so not interested in watching them scramble for fame should they be asked back for a second season of The Real Housewives of DC. I must admit, tho, that I am looking forward to seeing the exchange between all the DC folk in this reunion special. The Drama is gonna hit the fan … I hope it’s worth paying attention to.

Yesterday afternoon, the Purple Yoda himself — Prince announced that he will be hittin’ the road on tour starting in December with a few friends. At the press conference announcement at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, Prince announced that the tour will be called Welcome 2 America:
Surprisingly, the press conference announcement yesterday was pretty light on details … like tour dates and cities, but Prince did announce a very impressive list of opening acts. Check out some photos of Prince at yesterday’s tour announcement event and find out who will be hittin’ the road with his Purple Majesty on tour …
Today, Prince headed to Harlem to the iconic Apollo Theater to announce he would be serving as Master of Ceremonies for a new concert series called ‘Welcome To America,’ which will be kicking off this December. Though he was mum on details like dates and tour stops, the 52 year-old singer/songwriter told the crowd that ‘Welcome to America’ will showcase some of his favorite artists including Maceo Parker, Janelle Monae, Mint Condition, Esperanza Spalding, Cassandra Wilson, Lalah Hathaway and Sheila E. The Minnesota native also confirmed that he and the New Power Generation would also perform nightly alongside featured acts. “If you’ve been to one of my shows, then you know what time it is,” the usually media shy artist joked. “You need to come early and come often because every time we play it’s always something new. I got a lot of hits. Bring friends, bring children, and bring foot spray because it’s gonna be funky” … Prince will play a special guitar for the duration of the concert series and then auction off the guitar for the benefit of Harlem Children’s Zone … At the press conference, Prince also debuted the full version of his new song ‘Rich Friends.’
HOLY MF SHIZZ! The New Power Generation? Are you kidding me? Let me tell you … I will do everything in my power to see Prince a few times on this tour, for sure. I hope to be able to see Prince + the NPG with Janelle Monáe as the opening act. I can’t think of a better mix of musicians to see all in one night. I will update with tour info as soon as it is made available. This new Prince tour sounds utterly amazing. I am so excited.

It's quite difficult to get a job nowadays in comparison to the past. In fact with the quantity of people that now hold university qualification yo
First of all you should ensure that you get trained in a discipline where there is real demand for it. There is no point following a course for a sector that's in decline as you'll have a hard time finding a job. Concurrently you should make sure that you actually love the task. There is no reason for getting a career that you do not have an interest in. Personally I'll advise you to go for a career in Pmp project management as there are a lot of job possibilities in there.
It'll be difficult for you to go with just a degree as you will have a lot of competition. This is where some additional skills could be useful. For example employers are actually on the search for people that have good interpersonal skills. This is why it may be a good idea that you get some lessons in foreign languages if you want. Those that have the chance to know French can have a look at this article on language training (sejour linguistique) as it carries some helpful point.
You must also ensure that you communicate confidently. There are many people that are good at written language but truly crap with regards to speaking in public. It is therefore important that you have enough self-confidence so as to speak in public. Certainly communications skills can certainly improve your possibility of getting a job. Recently I have come across this French content on shyness (vaincre sa timidite) and should be interesting for you to have a look.
These days it is quite difficult for people to find a job. So as to succeed it is important that we develop our skills. I trust that these tips have been helpful for you and you will really take advantage of these tips so as to improve your chance of finding a job.

More Photos From Rihanna’s ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ Music Video
First there was the kissin’, then there was the hand-holdin’ … all in Paris, France — the city of lights and love. Today we learn that new lovebirds Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have imported their lurve from France to put on display here in SoCal. Halle and Olivier showed up here in LA this week lookin’ in love as ever at a photographic art exhibit in West Hollywood, CA:
Their relationship is still in its infancy but Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are fast becoming inseparable. The loved up pair headed out last night to a photography exhibition at the Marcelita Gallery in West Hollywood. Arriving together, in a classic car driven by Olivier, the pair were affectionate and romantic, holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes as they browsed the selection and chatted with other patrons. Earlier in the day the couple headed out for a spot of lunch in Los Angeles and Halle appeared very smitten with her new beau. Wearing a white tank with a huge thumbprint on the front, Halle stayed close to the french actor as they walked from the car. They spent time in an office building in Beverly Hills before grabbing some lunch and heading back to Halle’s house in West Hollywood. Martinez flew from France, his home country, to Los Angleles at the beginning of the week to spend time with his new lady.
HMMM … I guess what I initially thought was just a fun, work-fling has grown into something more. It’s one thing to carry on while on location for work … but when you bring your fling back home with you — that’s some seriousness, y’all. Still … I’m not 100% convinced that this relationship will stand the test of time. If we ever get to see photos of Olivier with Halle‘s daughter Nahla Ariela, well, then we can be sure things are on like Donkey Kong. Time will tell … but, thus far, these two are keepin’ the fling very alive.

Yesterday we got to see a few videos recorded by celebs in support of young GLBT people who may be feeling hopeless and, very sadly, suicidal due to harassment, bullying and/or rejection from others. Today I want to share one more video that features fashion guru and Project Runway host Tim Gunn sharing his own story of attempted suicide. As you may recall, we learned last month about Gunn‘s suicide attempt when I talked bout his new book in which he shares his story. In light of the tragic string of GLBT suicides in recent weeks, Tim Gunn was inspired to share his story personally in a video of his own:
Messages like this have more impact when they come directly from someone who endured the same situations in their youths. I can’t think of a better person to look to as an example of the fact that “It Gets Better” than Tim Gunn. This man tried to end his life at 17 … was thankfully unsuccessful in his attempt and found the strength to soldier on and achieve major success in his adult life. Of course the same staggering success cannot be promised to everyone but life does get better from the youthful despair that so many young people suffer. I love Tim Gunn so much … his decision to share his personal story in an attempt to help save the lives of other is just so inspiring. It does get better … and The Trevor Project is there to offer help and support 24/7.

How cool is Johnny Depp? When he (or his publicist) got a letter from an adorable British third grader requesting pirate Captain Jack Sparrow's help in rising up in mutiny against teachers at Meridian Primary School in Greenwich, south-east London -- where J.D. just happens to be filming "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" -- 'ol John boy knew just what to do: keep the Sparrow dreads on after work and swish on down to the school for some real-life pirating. After regaling the kids with some swashbuckling songs and dances, Depp wisely counseled the tot to hold off on the mutiny, since, you know, the authorities were keeping an eye on him.
That just got us thinking about how awesome it would be if Johnny dressed up as some of his other legendary characters and paid in-character visits to other totally inappropriate audiences.

Celebrate Wendy O. Williams' Birthday With Bobblehead Doll
What better way to celebrate Wendy O. Williams' 61st birthday on May 28 (if she hadn't blown her head off at age 48) than with a cute, scantily clad bobblehead doll.
Yes, Aggronautix, the company that, in 2009, presented a bobblehead of GG Allin -- the lovable now-deceased counter culture character who beat up audience members, [...]
In spring 2009, just as Heaven & Hell (Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio) were getting ready to put out their debut full-length, 'The Devil You Know,' Dio and bassist Geezer Butler sat down in an apartment in New York's East Village to talk about the making of the disc, the sorry state of the world and the current state of heavy metal. It would be the last time we would talk with Dio, who died on May 16 following a six month battle with stomach cancer.
At the time, the singer had everything to live for. He had just co-written and recorded his first full record with Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi in 18 years, and the band was receiving rave responses around the world. Moreover, DIo and his bandmates were enjoying one another's company like never before. Age old ego-battles and petty grievances had been put aside and the guys were having a great time playing Sabbath songs and new material for sold out audiences who, for the moment at least, seemed to forget Dio was not Sabbath's original vocalist.
When we talked with Dio, he was articulate, animated and optimistic about the band's musical future. Even if he had some concerns about the economy and global unrest, he was convinced that music could make a difference. Not only was it a great escape from reality, the messages within could direct a new generation in a more productive path. Hopefully, he was right. Sadly, even if he was, he won't be around to see it.
We would love to be able to present a full interview with Dio about his amazing musical history, covering his years with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath and his solo band Dio, but at the time of our discussion, he and Butler were promoting the excellent album 'The Devil You Know,' and, understandably, that was the focus of their conversation. So here it is, our final conversation with a legend. RIP, Ronnie.

NYCC 2010: 'Green Lantern' Trailer To Debut With 'Harry Potter' In November
Fresh from New York Comic Con and currently echoing within the comic and movie blogosphere is the news that the hotly anticipated "Green Lantern" trailer [...]
Back in May, 20th Century Fox announced that they had lined up "127 Hours" and "Spider-Man" star James Franco to star in their "Planet of the Apes" prequel, "Rise of the Apes." Production began in July and, according to our recent chat with Franco, he wrapped up his work on the film just before the Toronto Film Festival in September. He also said that he's intrigued by the original films' cult-like status. But does he consider himself a fan?
"To an extent," he said. "I'm fascinated with the camp and cult aspects of those films."
Which we followed with a joke that Franco likely plays a version of Ricardo Montalban's Armando.
"Am I? You have to tell me," Franco teased. "No actually this is a prequel so I don't represent any character that is in the previous films," he said.
Speaking of those previous films, does "Rise of the Apes" follow the themes or tones set by its predecessors?
"It does. There are a few connections," Franco said. "But where the other films provide commentary about class relations, race relations, inter-species relations, different cultures clashing, this movie is more of a Frankenstein story," he revealed.
"It's a strange coincidence because Danny [Boyle] is about to do the stage production of "Frankenstein," but this is really about man messing with science and the results of that."
The film, directed by Rupert Wyatt, features an impressive supporting cast: Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Andy Serkis as revolutionary ape Caesar, a villainous Brian Cox and Tom Felton, who will play Cox's son.

Celebs Come Out For The Launch Of A New Collection Of Swatch Watches
Brad Pitt along with his twin children Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline made their grand arrival in Hungary today to meet up with pseudo-wife and mother Angelina Jolie who is there directing her first film. Here is a cute pic of Daddy Braddy and the twins at at the VIP terminal at the Ferihegy International Airport in Budapest:
The world’s most famous globe trotting family are back together again. Brad Pitt was spotted Thursday arriving at the VIP terminal at the Ferihegy International Airport in Budapest carrying two-year old twins Vivienne and Knox. Angelina Jolie, 35, has already been getting settled in Hungary where she’s working on her yet untitled directorial debut. Filming began a week ago, with Jolie shooting in a Budapest orphanage. The couple’s school age kids are currently enrolled in a French-American school there. Pitt, 46, dressed for the cold weather in a wool cap and shades, had been shooting Moneyball in Boston. The clan, who are expected to spend the next few months in Europe, are residing in a mansion outside Budapest and will spend time in Bosnia where Jolie’s film will also shoot.
Lord, this family really gets around. It wasn’t that long ago that they had settled in France first for the birth of the twins and then for the duration of the filming production of Ange‘s film The Tourist. Now that she’ll be in Budapest for a while directing her first film, it’s time for a new home for the Brangelina Bunch. I don’t know how they manage to do everything all the time but … they seem to do it well. I guess our sights will be set on Hungary in the coming weeks and months for Brangelina news.

Apparently today is the day for weird film-to-Broadway news. First up is "Sister Act," which EW.com says is primed to take its act to the Great White Way beginning April 20, 2011. This news is somewhat understandable, as the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg was a box-office hit, and a musical adaptation is already enjoying a lucrative run in London's West End.
On the stranger end of the stick, Deadline has confirmed that a revival of "Carrie" the musical is in the works. No, not Carrie as in the "Sex and the City" leading lady (which would actually make some sense), but Carrie as in the vengeful main character of Stephen King's book, it's acclaimed 1976 movie adaptation and its not-so-acclaimed 1988 Broadway musical version (which lost $8 million dollars in its short run).
Add that to the planned "Little Miss Sunshine" musical that was announced over the summer, the confirmed Julie Taymor "Spider-man" musical and even a Broadway version of "The Notebook," and we've got a really random array of films making their way to Broadway and not enough musicals crossing over into Hollywood (I'm looking at you, "Wicked"). Here are some films that we hope never get the musical treatment.
"Avatar"
Six foot blue aliens singing mournful hymns after the loss of Hometree? Thanks, but no thanks. "Avatar" is the highest grossing film of all time, and could probably be done on Broadway a la "The Lion King," but I think the world would be better off if no one tried.
"The Bourne Identity"
Has there ever been a fugitive assassin Broadway musical before? Probably not, but "The Bourne Identity" should not be the first. Jason Bourne is terrifying with his deadly accuracy and need for revenge, but what would he be if he broke out into song every time things got tense? A cast member on "Glee," that's what.
"Love Actually"
Say what you will about this British ensemble romantic comedy (I love it), but it has plenty of the elements necessary for a musical: that awesome song-and-dance sequence at the end, the intertwined story lines of several lead characters, and the all-around feel good vibe. But "Love Actually" should just maintain its legacy as one of the best ensemble rom-com films out there.
"The Departed"
Can't you just picture Frank Costello, Colin Sullivan and Billy Costigan harmonizing together about each of their sinister motivations during a climactic moment in a "The Departed" musical, much like the "Tonight" reprise at the end of act one in "West Side Story"? We can, but we'd prefer not to.
"Pirates of the Caribbean"
If this ever happened, it would have to be the first musical based on a film based on an amusement park ride ever created. Yes, "The Pirates of Penzance" has been a successful Broadway musical that follows pirates, but let's just leave it at that. They're having enough trouble finally getting the fourth film to the big screen, and what would a "Pirates of the Caribbean" musical be without Johnny Depp anyways?
"Moulin Rouge"
No, wait, nevermind. "Moulin Rouge" should definitely be made into a musical. Who out there is working on a revival on "Carrie" instead of getting this classic film musical to Broadway?
Would you go see "Sister Act," "Carrie" and "Little Miss Sunshine" on Broadway?

New couple alert, new couple alert or is it? Brittani Senser is Levi Johnston’s girlfriend but is it real life or reel life? Keep reading and you can find out the answer to that and learn all about Brittani too!
So is Brittani Senser Levi Johnston’s girlfriend? The answer to that is nope but they are heating things up in her new video “After Love” which has just been released and you can see below. Rumors about these two being more than friends sparked when they were seen together at the Teen Choice Awards in August but as it turns out the two simply had a working relationship. If Senser isn’t dating Johnston does that mean she is single? That has not been confirmed or denied however there is speculation she is involved with the lead singer from The New Congress but again that could be just another pesky rumor.
Since we know that Senser and Johnston are not a couple what do we know about Levi’s on screen flame? Well this is what we have for a biography. She is an up and coming R&B singer who you may recognize from her days on Making The Band 3, which is actually where I know her from. I have to say not so impressed with her singing but you can decide for yourself what you think of her music by watching the below video. On her MySpace page she calls herself a “pop princess in the making”, gag! That is pretty much what we know for now but given that she wants a music career I am sure more details will be coming, don’t worry I will totally keep you posted.
Brittani Senser is not Levi Johnston’s girlfriend and has denied all along that the two are romantically involved. The Minneapolis born beauty met Johnston after casting him in her video. I tell you what having him in her video sure has gotten her some publicity and that is never a bad thing. Let me know your thoughts on Brittani.

'It was amazing. I got to wear a garbage bag on national TV,' singer says.

Even if they didn't walk away with Moonmen, just about everybody who attended the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards exited the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles a winner. Taylor Swift started some buzz with new music, and Paramore's Hayley
Williams finally got to do a live tag-team with B.o.B. Another winner in spirit? Ke$ha, whose first visit to the VMAs was a positive one.
"It was amazing. I got to wear a garbage bag on national TV," Ke$ha gushed on the red carpet at the premiere of the second season for the HBO show "Eastbound and Down." "It was fun. It was good. And I got nominated for four, and it was a dream come true just to be there."
The 23-year-old singer, who did indeed wear a dress made from garbage bags, was impressed with the level of fashion experimentation at this year's show. "It was fun. I think everybody was having fun with it," she said. However, she is not entirely sure she would be able to take the steps that Lady Gaga did with her head-turning meat-based ensemble. "I don't know if I could actually put raw meat on me," she admitted.
With the VMAs behind her, Ke$ha is working on a new album, but was mostly excited to get out and support her favorite show on television. "I don't watch TV, but this show I connect with on a really deep level," she said. "I kind of feel like I'm the female version of Danny McBride: Kind of white trash, just ready to party."
The Moonmen have all been handed out and the stars have gone home, but there's plenty of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards news, interviews, behind-the-scenes scoop, party reports and more still to come, so keep it locked on MTVNews.com.

On Sunday (September 12), Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, Justin Bieber and the Broken Bells will vie for the Best New Artist title at the 2010 Video Music Awards. But what does the Moonman mean to these industry newbies? MTV News caught up with a few of the nominees to find out.
Jason Derulo, who has opened for Lady Gaga and scored back-to-back radio hits, said he attended the award show last year, although he didn't have the best seat in the house. "Last year, I went to the MTV Awards, I sat all the way in the back. This year, I'm nominated for two awards. It's incredible," he gushed. "I've watched these awards my whole entire life, so to be finally a part of it is a dream come true. Pinch me, please."
Fellow nominee Nicki Minaj, whose climb to the top started on the mixtape circuit, said that the nomination was the pinnacle of her career. "I mean, obviously this is something everybody dreamed of being part of and I'm no exception to that rule," the Young Money rapper said. "I just feel like this is my coming-out party. This is major for an artist with no album out."
Whether or not Minaj takes home the award, she's sure to set her mark Sunday with her eye-popping fashion and her performance on the pre-show, which will be the first televised solo performance of her career.
If Ke$ha's journey to solo success wasn't already hinted at when she penned hits for Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears, she says her nomination proves it.
"This is such a monumental thing for me to be nominated, because it really means people do really like what I'm doing," she said. Asked what would happen if she did take home the Moonman, the singer merely smiled.
